What is bubble football?
Good question!, So, Bubble football or Zorb football as it is sometimes described is a exhilarating activity not for the fainthearted! One for you football lovers. You will wear a 1.55m inflatable bubble suit that has been inflated so you can fit your top half of your body inside the bubble. only your legs are exposed to the elements. We host bubble football events for all types of occasions, from Stag and hen weekends, Birthday parties, to team building and fetes and fundays. This activity is our flag ship event with over 75000 people playing every year.
What do you wear to bubble football?
Bubble football can be played both inside or outside on a 3G pitch or inside a sports hall. So we would advise you to come dressed for your specific booking. We would also advise you to wear trainers and sport attire such as tracksuit bottoms. We will not allow football boots or inappropriate footwear to take part in bubble football events for your safety and others. So no DR Martin boots!
Who invented bubble soccer?
Bubble football was invented in Scandinavia. But there is Nor-Way we thought it would catch on as it has in the UK. ( see what I did there) Whist it remains a very popular activity in other countries the stag and hen culture we have in the UK means that bubble football in the UK is played much more than in large countries without the same network. In the UK alone we hosted over 4500 sessions of bubble football last year alone!
How much does bubble football cost?
It depends on your type of event, if we are quoting for a birthday party or a stag/hen party for a one hour session our prices are per head. £27.50. However, if we are quoting for a set session time for a team building event or a festival type set up our prices are much more bespoke.
How many bubbles does our group get?
Your group will always receive 10 bubble suits, the co-ordinator will rotate the group evenly in terms of game time, Trust us, you will be pleased to get the break! We only ever offer 10 bubble suits for health and safety and insurance reasons when played in an enclosed space.
Do we play bubble football the whole time or are there other games involved?
Your co ordinator on the day will offer to play several small sided games. Games such as Bulldog, Capture the Flag, Sumo, Last man standing, run the gauntlet and of course football. The co ordinators are always trained to enquire with the group to ask what they would like to do more of.
Would bubble football be good as a stag do activity?
YES! Bubble football has been the most popular stag activity in the UK for the last 6 years and doesn’t look like slowing down. This activity gives the whole group the chance to take out that much needed aggression whilst keeping the stag in one piece- just. A perfect event to blow away the cobwebs of the night before or a perfect ice breaker on day one of a stag party.
Is there a minimum age to play bubble football?
We run our bubble football events for age 6 and above. If your booking is for children it is imperative that we are told at point of booking as we use a different size of zorb football for children.
Are there any other activities which are good to book with bubble football?
100% our Megamix activity is the most popular activity we offer and gives groups a chance to play football darts, goggle football or combat archery amongst our other events right after your bubble football event at a reduced rate!
How do I put the bubble zorb on?
Our trained co ordiators will show you how to safely put the bubble suit on. There is a correct and a wrong way so it is vitally important that you wait to be shown by our xtreme co ordinator before attempting to put the suit on yourself.
